Council News

Welcome New Members!
At the 1st degree held at the February council meeting, we had two new members join our council; Tony Barthel and Karl Becker. Wish them a warm welcome next time you see them.    

HS Graduate Scholarships
Each year our council offers $500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors. Application forms are available at the STMA school counselor's office. Forms must be turned in by April 1 in order to be considered. If you have questions, please contact John Delander at 763-497-2328 for more information.    

Valentine's Father-Daughter Dance
February 13 proved to be a memorable evening for a large number of girls and fathers, as it was the 2nd Father-Daughter Dance that our council sponsored. 48 fathers and 85 girls of all ages danced the evening away to the tunes of DJ Bill Lage, who mixed in Catholic topics along the way, and kept everyone on the dance floor for most of the evening. Thanks to all who assisted in organizing, especially chairman Jeremy Rohr. Mark your calendars for next year’s event! See photos in this publication.

We extend our sympathies to the families of Brother Knights Dana and Joe Zahler, at the passing of their father Lloyd.    

Prayer Requests
Bill Roden's mom passed away this afternoon, Monday 12/14/2009 at 12:30 pm, please keep her in your prayers. Also, Brother Knight Bernard Hackenmueller had a series of strokes late last week and is being transferred from the hospital to nursing home. Keep him in your prayers as well.
